Rescued it and doubled its income to over £1m along with repositioning it in a better place than she found it. Now happily working as the Director of her consultancy, Beyond Just Now, supporting community organisations and regional networks.
Director of Voice4Change England
Kunle has a wealth of experience gained from running policy teams in the voluntary sector and local government and a former Convenor of Camden Black Workers Group. An active campaigner within the trade union movement, he has a strong record of building partnerships with leading national and international organisations, has also worked abroad in Spain and in the USA for groups such as the Catalan institute in Barcelona, Tommie Smith Youth Movement and 100 Black Men of Southern California.
Dr William Ackah

William Ackah is Lecturer in the Department of Geography at the Birkbeck University of London. He is also the current chair of the Transatlantic Roundtable on Religion and Race (www.religionandrace.org). He is a Fulbright Research Scholar and is doing ongoing research on gentrification and its impact on African American Communities in Pittsburgh and Black communities in London. He has over 25 years of experience doing community development work in the UK and abroad.
